What are your PERSONAL goals? And how is your business helping you to meet them?
Many of us have been through this when we start our own business.
The excitement of being our own boss, the passion to do your own thing and create your own destiny. You also likely started this journey to help your family and/or friends.
You will have more time to for your family or social life, you will have financial freedom because you get to drive your own destiny.
The reality is that for most business owners the business takes over and your life becomes about supporting the process.
Where did those weekends go? When was the last time you went on a holiday, hung out with your friends or felt like you had time to take your family out for a weekend or even a few hours?
Life becomes about trying to grow a business but no matter the energy you put in, it doesn't seem to be working.
It doesn't have to be like this...
And it isn't like this for everybody, but every business needs some help from time to time
We have been there. We personally know how easy it can be to lose sight of the things that are important, the reasons you started this venture.
We have been helping small business around North Lakes for some time now. From small changes, some advice, implementing systems and writing business plans. Assisting business owners to remember their goals, plan new ones, grow their business and get their passion and life back.
We started out building websites and implementing Point Of Sale systems, and while this all provided assistance they only helped with part of the problem. The more we got involved the more we realised many small business owners needed more than just systems and flashy websites.
Often owners just wanted some idea of others experience. We found that many just don't reach out for help so don't know what assistance is out there.
When a business reaches out for help it is at a crossroad and it is important to identify what has brought it to where it is.
Simple steps
STEP 1 - It may just be a coffee and a chat
The first mistake many people make when their business isn't performing the way they would like, or need, is to pour more money into marketing without setting some goals or achievable targets. An expensive scatter gun approach to marketing can seem to help, creating lots of new Facebook followers, shares and likes, but unless you are reaching the right target audience for your business it will rarely return the premium you pay or cover the cost of your time.
Do you even know who your target audience is? How many of these people live within 10km of your business? Are you advertising in the right area to the right age group? What does your advertising convey about you and your business to potential new customers?

Our first meeting is free and the aim is to get to know you a little bit and get a feel on how well you know your business and your targets customers. We will also share your business to the Facebook groups we are members of as well as find some new relevant groups for you to share to.
