STEP 5 - Let's Get Serious

If we have made it to step 5 we have established a level of trust.  We probably know your business better than most outsiders.

We are now in a position to start making a difference.

​

In this step we will create a business plan or improve your existing business plan.

​

A solid business plan is critical for your business.  To get grants, loans or investment, none of this will happen without a plan.  The plan also spells out your goals, sets targets and provides an outline of where you want to be and what you need to do to get there.

​

This plan will set out milestones and the effort required to get there.

​

As you may know a business plan takes considerable time and research.

We understand that every business has different financial abilities so we don't tie YOU to a fixed fee.  Our aim however is to return at least 5 times your investment in us.

We will need some more input from you.  Some of what we require you may not have even thought of before such as ;

• your competition

• your unique advantage

• more detail on target demographic

• advertising that does or doesn't work

• budgets

• direct costs

• cost of sales

Many small business owners don't have a plan, they don't know what their goals are, they don't have budgets defined for marketing.  Missing any of these items means that the business is not being managed.  There is some tough love in the business plan, it will highlight your strengths, and your weaknesses.
